Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you (or the company you act for) and VedaApps (“we”). They apply when you use this website, a trial, or VedaUI and VedaQL. If you have a signed agreement or order with us, that agreement wins where it differs from these terms.

VedaUI is a builder and runtime for business software and portals. VedaQL turns databases into APIs. We may improve and change the services over time; we won't remove a main feature you pay for without telling you first.

• Give us correct details and keep them up to date.
• Keep passwords and API keys secret. You are responsible for what is done with your account and by the team members you invite.
• Tell us straight away at hello@vedaapps.com if you think someone used your account without permission.

What you build — pages, settings, queries, functions — and the data you connect stay yours. You let us host, copy and process them only as needed to provide the services to you.

You are responsible for having the right to use the data you connect, for the portals you publish, and for how your own users are treated — including telling them how their data is used. Where we handle personal data for you, we do so only on your instructions.

You agree to follow our Acceptable use policy.

You may connect other services — payment gateways, SMS and email providers, AI assistants, your own systems. Their own terms apply to them, you are responsible for your accounts with them, and we are not responsible for what they do.

VedaUI, VedaQL, this website and their code and designs belong to us. These terms don't give you any right to them except to use the services. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.

The trial is free. Paid use is agreed separately with us, in writing, including the price and how you pay.

We work to keep the services running, but trials and the demo server come with no promise of availability. Any service levels for paid use are set in your agreement with us.

We may suspend or end access if you break these terms, don't pay what you owe, or put the services or other users at risk. Where we can, we tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.

You may stop using the services at any time. When an account ends, we delete its data as described in our Privacy policy, and give you a reasonable chance to take a copy first when you have paid use with us.

Apart from what these terms or your agreement say, the services are provided “as they are”. We don't promise that they will be free of errors or fit every purpose. You should test what you build before you use it with real users.

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, business or data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

If someone makes a claim against us because of the data you connected, the portals you published or a breach of these terms by you, you will cover our reasonable costs of that claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of India decide any dispute, after we have first tried to settle it in good faith.

We may update these terms. We change the date at the top and tell account holders about important changes at least 30 days ahead. Using the services after that means you accept the new terms.
